Cumberland Gang Show is produced each year by volunteers.
An amazing number of man hours go in to putting together a rehearsal script for a cast of over 144 Scouts and Guides, to designing all the sets, costumes, lighting, special effects to putting them all together and putting on a top quality amateur show.

The Gang is made up of a few main areas:

  • Production team - is led by our producer, Rob Lang, who selects the rest of his team to produce the show each year.
  • Management board - is led by our chairman, Lyall Wood, who manages all the finances, and administration side of our show.
  • Cast - made up of Scouts and Guides, aged 10 years and older
  • Backstage - made up of all the mums, dads, ex cast and parents and friends of our show who enjoy volunteering their time in one of the many backstage departments
